Travis Kelce performs a dance routine to a Taylor Swift song during ‘New Heights’ live show with Jason

Travis Kelce stole the show at a recent live event with his brother Jason as he danced to girlfriend Taylor Swift’s hit song, “Shake It Off.” The event, titled “New Heights Live: We Gotta Talk About It,” took place at the Fifth Third Arena in Cincinnati, where the Kansas City Chiefs player was seen grooving to the pop star’s track as a marching band played in the background. The audience was delighted to see Travis embracing the music and having a great time during the Lombaby Games, a fun competition created by the Kelce brothers for the event.

In a TikTok video posted from the show, Travis could be heard expressing his love for the song, calling it one of his favorites. Despite Swift not being in attendance at the event, fans were thrilled to see Travis embracing her music and enjoying the performance. The singer is currently on hiatus from her Eras Tour and has been focusing on rest and recuperation during this time off. Recently, she was spotted at a birthday party in Los Angeles, taking a break from her busy schedule.

The Kelce brothers, who returned to their home state of Ohio for the live podcast taping, brought out special guests like Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow and Travis’ former Chiefs teammate Orlando Brown Jr. The support from their parents and family members added to the excitement of the event, which was initially supposed to be held at Nippert Stadium but was moved to Fifth Third Arena due to weather complications.

Both Travis and Jason have a strong connection to Nippert Stadium, where they played college football for the University of Cincinnati. The stadium holds a special place in their hearts, with Jason attending UC from 2006 to 2011 before being drafted to the Philadelphia Eagles, and Travis attending from 2008 to 2012 before joining the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Lombaby Games at the live show brought out the competitive spirit in the audience, with fun challenges like pinning a mustache on an Andy Reid cutout and answering trivia questions while riding a bull. The event was a perfect blend of entertainment and excitement, with Jason teasing the audience with hints of what to expect during the event.

The Kelce brothers have found success with their “New Heights” podcast, which they launched in September 2022. The support from Swift’s fandom, known as the “92 percenters,” has contributed to the podcast’s popularity, with fans showing up in large numbers to support them at live events. Winning Podcast of the Year at the 2024 iHeartPodcast Awards was a significant achievement for the duo, who thanked the Swifties for their continuous support.

Travis has often shared stories about his relationship with Swift on the podcast, from attending her concerts to singing her songs. The mutual admiration between the couple is evident, with Swift showing support for the podcast by engaging with the content on social media. New episodes of “New Heights” drop every Wednesday, offering fans a glimpse into the lives of the Kelce brothers and their journey in the world of sports and entertainment.

In conclusion, Travis Kelce’s dance to Taylor Swift’s music at the “New Heights Live” event was a memorable moment that highlighted the connection between the worlds of sports and music. The event was a success, with fans showing unwavering support for the Kelce brothers and their podcast. As they continue on their journey, it’s clear that Travis and Jason are not just athletes but cultural icons who bring joy and entertainment to their fans.
