T.J. Holmes confesses to feeling ‘very frustrated’ when Amy Robach travels alone
T.J. Holmes recently confessed that he becomes “really frustrated” whenever his partner, Amy Robach, travels without him. The journalist made this candid admission during a compelling discussion on their “Amy and T.J.” podcast. As Robach mentioned her upcoming solo travel plans for four days, Holmes expressed his feelings of discontent.
“I have said this to you plenty of times. I get not pissed [but] I get really frustrated when we are, not apart, but actually apart and traveling apart,” Holmes revealed. His emotions stemmed from a deep-rooted anxiety and fear of not being there to protect and support Robach when they are not together physically.
The dynamic duo, whose relationship became public after their time as co-hosts on “Good Morning America 3” came to an end, have been using their podcast as a platform to reflect on their journey as a couple. Holmes previously disclosed that he realized he was in love with Robach while still married to his ex-wife, Marilee Fiebig.
In a more lighthearted segment on their podcast, they even took a compatibility test that revealed their sexual preferences aligned perfectly. This playful banter showcased their chemistry and camaraderie, despite the challenges they have faced as a couple.
One major milestone for the pair was merging their families, which Holmes described as an exciting and heartwarming experience. Seeing his daughter, Sabine, warm up to the idea of him and Robach dating brought immense joy to Holmes and solidified their bond as a family unit.
Their respective divorces from their previous partners were finalized in October 2023, marking a new chapter in their lives together. Robach shares two daughters with her ex-husband, Tim McIntosh, while Holmes has two children from his previous marriage with Amy Ferson. The couple continues to navigate their blended family dynamics with grace and resilience.
Despite the challenges and public scrutiny they have faced, Holmes and Robach remain devoted to each other and are committed to building a strong, loving relationship. Their openness and honesty on their podcast have endeared them to their audience and allowed them to share their journey with authenticity and vulnerability.
As they continue to navigate the ups and downs of life as a couple in the public eye, Holmes and Robach stand strong together, facing each challenge head-on with unwavering support and love for each other. Their story serves as a reminder of the power of love and resilience in the face of adversity, inspiring others to embrace their own journey with courage and authenticity.
