Savannah Chrisley Talks Possible Marriage to Boyfriend Robert Shiver (Exclusive)

Could wedding bells be around the corner for Savannah Chrisley?

PEOPLE broke the news of the Chrisley Knows Best alum’s relationship with Robert Shiver, a former football player-turned-insurance company staffer, in September 2024 but the pair began dating a few weeks earlier on August 17, 2023.

Things have gotten pretty serious between the pair in their nearly two years together — and marriage discussions have been on the table.

“We’ve definitely talked about it. We both know, ‘Hey, this is what we want out of life.’ But he’s got some stuff to work through on his side of things before that can ever happen,” Savannah, 27, says, referencing Robert’s estranged wife Lindsay Shiver, who is currently awaiting trial after allegedly hiring a hitman to murder him. “I think what I love is that we’re not even really focused on that. I feel like it’s so easy to get caught up. Society loves to put a timeline on things like, ‘Oh, you’ve been together for two years. You need to get engaged, you need to get married.'”

And now, the Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley podcast host doesn’t even need the big thrills of a larger ceremony.

“I’ve always said, I want this huge wedding. I want all these things. When in reality, I feel like, when you’re in the right situation, you’re in the right relationship, you don’t need all these crazy, outward, extravagant things to prove your love for someone,” she explains.

In the meantime, Savannah is focused on caring for her younger siblings Grayson, 18, and Chloe, 12, while their parents Todd, 55, and Julie, 52, remain in prison on fraud and tax evasion charges. (Shiver also has children of his own with his estranged wife.)

“He and I, we’re both just so focused on our kids and making sure they’re in the healthiest places possible, and that they’re thriving and succeeding,” Savannah says. “My mom’s always said, ‘You’re only as happy as your saddest child.’ I truly do believe and feel that. So, we want to make sure that his kids and Chloe and Grayson are happy, and healthy and whole. That’s our main focus.”

“And then, we come together and we enjoy our time, and we love each other. I just believe that when the timing’s right, and when it’s supposed to happen, it’s going to happen,” she adds.

Savannah has also moved her attention toward the launch of her video-commerce telehealth company, Good Girl RX. With the help of Verb Technology Company, Inc., Good Girl RX will make high-quality health care more accessible to female patients.

“I have been very outspoken about my endometriosis and the issues that I  deal with. I saw that there was a gap in what women need when it comes to specialized care. I don’t want to just fix a problem when it happens. I want to prevent a problem before it happens,” she says.

“With Good Girl RX, we’re really going to be focusing on women’s health. We have children’s [vitamin] packs, teen [vitamin] packs, period packs, premenopausal, postmenopausal,” she shares. “With my endometriosis, I’m looking into a medication that they have in Australia that we don’t have here in the U.S. that was shown to work wonders for women who have endometriosis. I really want to focus on things that aren’t being focused on. Women don’t get enough individualized care.”
