After graduating from Anaheim High School, he continued his education at Fullerton College, where he was a member of the football team and played the quarterback position.

He moved on to pursue a career in the field of football. Jim Fassel was chosen by the Chicago Bears in the seventh round of that year’s National Football League Draft.

At that time, Fassel was one of the players who were still available. During his career as a player, Fassel was a part of a number of different teams, including the Chicago Bears, San Diego Chargers, Houston Oilers, Toronto Argonauts, and The Hawaiians. In 1997, the New York Giants made the second hire of Fassel, but this time it was to fill the position of head coach of the team. Fassel was promoted to his new role in 1998.

During the time he was in charge of his teams, they had a history of going on impressive streaks and winning crucial games. This earned him a reputation as a successful coach.

In 1997, the National Football League recognized him as the best head coach in the league, and they gave him an award for it. Fassel was the head coach of the Giants when they triumphed in the National Football Conference Championship game in the year 2000.

In 2003, he parted ways with the New York Giants and began working as an offensive consultant for the Baltimore Ravens. Prior to that, he had been with the Giants.

Before then, he had been a member of the Giants organization. He was forced to wait one more year before being offered the chance to take over as the offensive coordinator of the team.

Finally, he was granted the opportunity. During his time with the Ravens, who finished towards the bottom of the league in offense, several players on the club voiced their discontent with his contributions to the team’s offensive. During this period, he was the team’s starting quarterback.

On October 17, 2006, he was relieved of his responsibilities with the Baltimore Ravens at the same time that he was dismissed from his position as offensive coordinator for the team.

In the year 2009, the option to serve as the head coach of the Las Vegas Locomotives, which are members of the United Football League, was presented to him as a possibility.
