Twilight Home Bella Swan Lived in Now an Airbnb Where People Get Very Comfortable

Twilight fans are flocking to a home that was featured in the popular film series.

The Twilight Swan House, located in St. Helens, Ore., is now an Airbnb that fans can stay at. Owners Amber and Dean appear in the new documentary The House From … and open up about owning a piece of cinematic history.

“It was a trip to know that all these actors were physically in this house,” Amber shares. “I mean, if the walls could talk … I have one friend who when she came out said, ‘Rob [Pattinson] sat on this toilet!’ ”

Laughing, she notes, “Different people have different experiences and get excited about different things with the house.”

When they were in the market for a home, they toured the house to see the inside firsthand, but they didn’t think they’d actually end up with it. They felt responsibility toward it once they bought it, though, so they decided to rent it out, making it an Airbnb.

Of maintaining and renting out the house, Dean says, “It’s like curating a museum. That’s what it feels like we do. It’s a museum that people stay in but it is definitely a museum.”

The pair also note that visitors are excited to recreate the things that happened in Bella’s room.

“If there’s one couple, this is the room they’ll be in,” Dean says cheekily, adding, “This room is never empty.”

“At one point, our cleaner said, ‘I swear, there was a butt print on Bella’s desk.’ And I was like, ‘I don’t want to know. Clean it!’ “

Amber and Dean say they understand how “people want more” from the Twilight universe. “They want the story to live on, and we give them something to follow.”

“When you have somebody who loves something so much, when it’s over, it’s hard to almost come to terms with that. For a lot of people, this house is kind of a continuation of this story, or a piece of that that will live on forever.”
