Prince Harry, Meghan Markle spotted helping LA wildfire victims

Royals to the rescue.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were spotted helping Los Angeles wildfire victims outside the Pasadena Convention Center on Friday.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who live approximately 90 miles north of the city, were on hand to distribute food and supplies to victims.

While meeting with Pasadena’s mayor, Victor Gordo, they thanked first responders, including Los Angeles County firefighters and police, according to People. They later met with chef and World Central Kitchen founder José Andrés at the food stations to thank the relief teams.

In footage shared by Fox 11, the couple was seen talking to Gordo.

“It’s great people, great personalities and great heart for them to come out here and meet with the first responders, meet with the people who were affected,” Gordo told the news station of his meeting with the royals. “It’s very important.”

He added that Harry, 40, and Meghan, 43, “really buoyed the spirits of the first responders.”

The couple’s time in Pasadena included a stop at the Rose Bowl, where “people were very happy to see them,” Gordo said.

“They want to be as helpful as they can be … we visited with some of the affected families in some of the burned-out areas in Pasadena and Altadena. They took the time to meet the people that are affected and spent time. They’re just very caring people who are concerned for their friends and neighbors.”

Earlier in the day, Gordo said Meghan and Harry visited World Central Kitchen “anonymously” by “serving food with masks.” They also wore baseball caps — Meghan rocked a blue LA Dodgers cap, while Harry wore a black “Cali” hat from Los Angeles-based brand James Perse, according to The Post.

Meghan and Harry weren’t there for “publicity,” Gordo said. They wanted to “work.”

“We went to visit some of the families in the impacted area and view firsthand some of the impacted area and then they wanted to go visit the first responders and personally thank them for their efforts to help our families and their neighbors,” he added.

This new sighting comes shortly after Harry and Meghan reportedly opened their Montecito, Calif., mansion — which they share with their two children, Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3 — to friends and loved ones who were forced to evacuate due to the multiple blazes ripping across the city.

On Thursday, it was revealed that the couple’s Archewell Foundation was figuring out the best way to help the city amid the crisis.

“In the last few days, wildfires in Southern California have raged through neighborhoods and devastated families, homes, schools, medical care centers, and so much more – affecting tens of thousands from all walks of life,” Harry and Meghan said in a statement.

In addition to listing a range of charitable organizations that are assisting with the crisis and are in need of donations, the Duke and Duchess urged those who are able to “open your home.”

“If a friend, loved one, or pet has to evacuate and you are able to offer them a safe haven in your home, please do,” the pair said in their statement. “And be sure to check in with any disabled or elderly neighbors to see if they need help evacuating.”

Since the fires started Tuesday, at least 10 people have been confirmed dead and roughly 180,000 residents have been ordered to evacuate.

Many celebs have lost their mansions due to the wildfires, including Jenny Garth, Paris Hilton, Spencer and Heidi Pratt, Miles Teller, Jhené Aiko, Melissa Rivers and more.
