Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian ‘Still Talk Occasionally’ After Split (Exclusive Source)

While Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian may have parted ways, the former couple still keep in touch.

In an exclusive update on the comedian’s love life, a source close to Davidson tells PEOPLE that he’s “still friends with pretty much all his exes” as they remain on good terms.

“Nothing bad happened between him and Madelyn [Cline],” the insider continues. It just ran its course. He and Kim still talk occasionally. He’s a good guy, and they root for him.”

The actor’s standing with his exes comes after he and Cline called it quits in the summer of 2024 after 10 months of dating.

In September 2023, sources confirmed to PEOPLE that Davidson was dating the Outer Banks star, who was previously linked to Jackson Guthy. The former couple were first spotted in Las Vegas for one of the comedian’s standup shows. A month later, Cline supported Davidson when he hosted Saturday Night Live.

“They seemed very lovey, very cute, but they kept to themselves,” an insider told PEOPLE of the pair’s interaction at the SNL cast afterparty.

As for Davidson and Kardashian, the duo first sparked romance rumors in October 2021, following the reality star’s stint on the sketch comedy show. They even shared a kiss in one sketch that spoofed Disney’s Aladdin.

They were spotted holding hands on a roller coaster ride at Knott’s Scary Farm in Buena Park, California, and meeting for a quiet dinner on New York’s Staten Island.

Soon after, the actor called the reality star his girlfriend, and from there set off a whirlwind romance that spanned the globe, made countless headlines and gave fans one fabulous Met Gala moment.

However, after nine months, PEOPLE confirmed the pair had split, in part due to busy work and travel schedules in August 2022.

“Part of the reason they split was because of their busy schedules,” an insider told PEOPLE. “They both travel all the time and it was hard.”

A month after their breakup, Kardashian sat down with Interview Magazine and confirmed that there is no bad blood between her and Davidson.

“He’s a cutie,” Kardashian said of the actor. “He’s literally such a good person, they don’t really make them like him anymore.” She added, “I’m excited for what he has coming up.”
