Kim Kardashian ‘Proud’ of Daughter North as She Stars in FKA twigs Video

Kim Kardashian is “proud” to have a front-row seat to her daughter’s success.
The SKIMS co-founder, 44, shared a behind-the-scenes look on Instagram of her daughter North, 11, appearing in FKA twigs’ music video for the song “Childlike Things.” Kardashian, who shares her four children with ex-husband Kanye West, noted that she was “proud” of her daughter in the caption of the post.
“Proud of my baby,” she wrote.
The “Cellophane” singer revealed how North wound up being featured on the track from her new album, Eusexua, in an Instagram Reel shared on Thursday, March 20. Twigs noted that her label said to have someone on the song that has a “childlike energy” would be key. “It needs someone who has that tenacity, who has that strong point of view that you have when you’re 11,” she recalled.
North raps in Japanese on the song inspired by Where the Wild Things Are.

It’s no secret that North’s career is skyrocketing, and maybe even overtaking the spotlight from Kardashian herself.
In a post-credits scene from a recent episode of The Kardashians, the proud mom looked at the analytics from her daughter’s Lion King performance and was shocked that North was more popular than the rest of her family.
“[North] generated 22 billion impressions and over $1 billion in advertising, media…Wait a minute. North West has 18% more popularity than all of her family members,” Kardashian said.
“Um, okay, we’re gonna have to work on this,” she joked. “North, you’re not gonna take me down.”

In addition to North, Kardashian and West are parents to three other kids: Psalm, 5, Chicago, 7, and Saint, 9.
Though Kardashian and West may no longer be together, it’s clear that they continue to take their roles as co-parents very seriously. “Make sure you are your co-parent’s biggest cheerleader, no matter what you’re personally going through,” Kardashian told Vogue in February 2022.
Above all, Kardashian loves being a mom of four. Recently, she shared a heartfelt message on her Instagram Stories about the “sad part” of being a parent.
“The sad part about motherhood is that you’re raising the one person you can’t live without… to live without you,” she wrote over a background of crumbled white paper, accompanied by a teary-eyed emoji.
