Justin Baldoni’s attorney blasts Ryan Reynolds’ ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ diss

Not so Mr. Nicepool.

A deleted scene from Ryan Reynolds’ “Deadpool & Wolverine” has recently gone viral, with Justin Baldoni’s attorney claiming it an “obvious” reference to his client.

During an interview with Megyn Kelly on Tuesday, Bryan Freedman blasted Blake Lively’s husband for the alleged diss.

He insisted, “If your wife is sexually harassed, you don’t make fun of Justin Baldoni. You don’t make fun of the situation. You take it very seriously.

“You file HR complaints, you raise the issue and you follow a legal process,” Baldoni’s lawyer continued. “What you don’t do is mock the person and turn it into a joke.”

He reiterated, “Again, if somebody is seriously sexually harassed, you don’t make fun of it. It’s a serious issue.”

Freedman added that there’s “no question [the scene] relates to Justin.”

The clip in question features Reynolds rocking a man bun, the hairstyle Baldoni sported for decades until 2023, as Nicepool.

“Oh my goodness, wait til you’ve seen Ladypool,” he gushed of Lively’s character. “She is gorgeous. She just had a baby too, and [you] can’t even tell.”

When Reynolds — as Deadpool — said that Nicepool wasn’t “supposed to say that,” the character replied, “That’s OK. I identify as a feminist.”

He added, “I’d be fighting alongside you, but my calling is to one day start a podcast that monetizes the women’s movement.”

Social media users had a heyday breaking down the “direct dig.”

One pointed out that Lively’s character “lights up” Nicepool in front of a flower shop, an apparent reference to her “It Ends With Us” character, a florist named Lily Bloom.

Lively filed a sexual harassment complaint against her co-star in December 2024, four months after the movie’s premiere sparked feud speculation.

She also alleged that the “Man Enough” podcast host and his crisis PR team took part in a social media smear campaign to “destroy” her reputation.

The “Gossip Girl” alum doubled down on these claims, which Baldoni’s lawyer has denied as “salacious” and “false,” in her lawsuit filed with New York federal court on Dec. 31.

That same day, the actor sued the New York Times for its coverage of Lively’s complaint — which the outlet says was “vigorous” reporting that they stand by.

In the filing, he claimed that Reynolds confronted him in an “aggressive” manner over comments made about Lively’s body.

Freedman subsequently told NBC News that the “Jane the Virgin” alum “absolutely” plans to sue Lively as well.

The “Green Lantern” star, 48, has yet to comment on his wife’s legal battle but was all smiles during his first red carpet appearance at the National Board Awards on Tuesday.
