Grimes revealed she was diagnosed with autism and ADHD.

The “Genesis” songstress shared the update via X Friday, saying she likely has dyslexia too, which might be why she “can’t spell at all without spellcheck [sic].”

“I feel like, had we known this when I was a child I would have worked so much less hard [and] been on drugs.”

Grimes, 37, also argued that her “weird obsessions and motivations” would likely have been viewed as “pathological” had she received an earlier diagnosis.

“I could have written off certain things that were very hard for me but I’m glad I over came [sic] them,” she wrote.

The Canadian-born singer-songwriter also admitted her ADHD symptoms “were infinitely worse when [she] wasn’t an avid reader.”

Grimes also said she believes that a “huge percentage” of ADHD is related to “screen addiction and dopaminergic burn out.”

She also called out “uninformed social media mental health subculture,” describing certain accounts as “anti civilizational and geared towards making people worse.”

In response to a fan, the musician added in the comments, “I just think unsupervised medical advice and proliferation of info about symptoms is a very tricky thing.”

Grimes got candid about her mental health weeks after airing her grievances with ex Elon Musk on the social media platform.

In February, the “Oblivion” singer spoke out about the Tesla CEO, 53, bringing their 4-year-old son, X AE A-XII, to a meeting with President Trump in the Oval Office.

All eyes were on the toddler as he made faces at photographers and sat on his father’s shoulders.

“He should not be in public like this. I did not see this, thank u for alerting me,” Grimes posted after being made aware of the photos circulating online.

“But I’m glad he was polite. Sigh.”

That same month, she doubled down on her stance, telling Time that fame is something “you should consent to.”

Grimes later told an X user in March that she has “begged” Musk to keep their three kids “offline” and even “tried legal recourse.”

“I’ve seen young ppl destroyed by the internet … The state of my children’s lives being public is of grave concern to me and I think about how to solve this every day,” she added.

The exes also share daughter Exa Dark Sideræl, 3, and son Techno Mechanicus, 2. Grimes and Musk sued each other over parental rights in 2023.
