Glenn Close is finding the humor in a hairy situation as she grows older.
On Thursday, June 5, the 78-year-old actress uploaded an Instagram video in which she sat in front of a window that accentuated her bedhead hair. While wearing glasses and pajamas, she shared an encouraging message to her followers about beauty, aging and all that comes with it.
“Good morning! My hair is short so now my morning concoctions can’t be quite as dramatic, though that’s pretty good,” she said while pointing to a section of hair.

“I’ll tell you something,” she continued. “First of all, these are my wonderful Erdem pajamas but I’m sitting here being backlit by the beautiful Montana sun, checking out my face fuzz. Now everybody has face fuzz, right? Of course, nobody wants to have the random hair sticking out. Everybody has those as well. If we’re really honest about it, it’s part of being human. Peach fuzz and a little chin hair, part of getting old. Oh no!”
“The aspens are trembling in the morning breeze as I start my day. #montanamornings #montanamorningskies #quakingaspens #montanasummer @erdem,” she captioned the clip.
Close has been enjoying the fruits of her labor recently, taking time to bond with her All Fair’s costars outside of filming. Last month, she revealed that she attended an “epic” pajama party hosted by Kim Kardashian, after the SKIMS founder admitted she’d never seen one of Close’s classic movies.
“We discovered that she’d never seen Fatal Attraction,” Close exclusively recalled to PEOPLE at the 11th annual Breakthrough Prize Ceremony in Los Angeles on April 5.

“So she said, ‘Okay, we’re going to go over to my mom’s house, we’re going to all wear pajamas, and we’re going to watch Fatal Attraction.’ And we did it, and it was pretty epic.”
“She would look up and say, ‘Oh my God,’ ” Close said of Kardashian’s reaction. “Yeah, it was really fun.”
The Oscar-nominated actress added that she was “very impressed by Kim” while working on All’s Fair. “She’s a fun, smart, lovely woman.”
The Ryan Murphy-directed legal drama series also stars Teyana Taylor, Niecy Nash, Naomi Watts and more. It is slated for release this year on Hulu.
