Diddy Accused of Promising Man Record Deal Before Raping Him: Complaint

Sean “Diddy” Combs is being sued by a man who accuses the music mogul of forcing him to perform oral sex before allegedly raping him.

According to a complaint filed in New York obtained by PEOPLE, the unnamed accuser, a young musician from Chicago, claims that he was traveling around Los Angeles performing in 2022 when he was approached by a scout for Combs who allegedly told the plaintiff that the Bad Boy Records founder was looking for new talent.

The plaintiff says he was then invited to Combs’ birthday party and was picked up by a driver who brought him to a private home.

At the party, the plaintiff claims he met Combs.

“My assistant told me you have a beautiful voice,” the mogul allegedly said. “Sit down, have a drink with me, and let’s talk business.”

After being given a drink, the plaintiff says Combs promised that he could secure him a record contract and then asked if he wanted to see his jewelry collection.

The plaintiff claims that he went with Combs to a private room and began feeling strange. The complaint alleges that the man was drugged.

Combs is then accused of exposing his genitals to the plaintiff, asking him if he had ever performed oral sex on a man before and urging him to try.

The plaintiff claims he then tried to leave but that Combs prevented him and said he would not receive a contract unless he complied.

The complaint then alleges that Combs “lost his patience” and “forcefully” put his penis into the plaintiffs mouth. The plaintiff further alleges that the mogul undressed him and raped him before leaving him “incapacitated” on the bed.

The suit is one of dozens accusing Combs of sexual misconduct, and the plaintiff is one of many being represented by high-profile Houston attorney Tony Buzbee. Combs has previously denied all sexual assault allegations.

“As we’ve said before, Mr. Combs cannot respond to every new publicity stunt, even in response to claims that are facially ridiculous or demonstrably false,” Combs’ representative say in a statement to PEOPLE. “Mr. Combs and his legal team have full confidence in the facts and the integrity of the judicial process. In court, the truth will prevail: that Mr. Combs never sexually assaulted or trafficked anyone—man or woman, adult or minor.”

Combs is also facing criminal allegations after he was indicted on federal charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution.

He has pleaded not guilty and is currently in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn as he awaits trial.
