Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Wife Sam’s Maldives Vacation Included Shirtless Thirst Traps

Aaron Taylor-Johnson and his wife Sam ended the year with some fun under the sun! 

On Tuesday, Dec. 31, the Kraven the Hunter actor, 34, shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse at their recent vacation on Instagram. The post included snaps of the couple lounging on the beach, riding bicycles and going snorkeling while staying at the luxury resort Soneva Jani in the Maldives.

“A little break in Paradise,” he captioned the post.

There are plenty of intimate moments between Aaron and his director wife, 57, who cozied up while sitting together on a large tree branch. Aaron was wearing a dark blue polo T-shirt with matching shorts. He accessorized the outfit with a black cap and black sunglasses. Meanwhile, Sam wore a blue and white striped button down shirt tucked into a pair of jean shorts, as well as large brown sunglasses. 

Taking advantage of their picturesque setting, Aaron shared a look at the sunset view from the boardwalk of the resort, followed by a picture of Sam riding a bike with purple details on the boardwalk. 

Aaron also enjoyed riding his bike through a forest and preparing to snorkel as he posed next to the ocean in underwater gear. The couple made a romantic outing of their snorkel trip, holding hands as they explored the ocean together in one sweet video.

Of course, vacation thirst traps were also on the menu as the Nosferatu actor posed shirtless by the pool in one pic with his “Sam” tattoo on full display. 

The Back to Black director also shared her own set of images with the sweet caption, “This was the best way to end 2024. Faced a fear and learnt how to dive. Swam with some sharks and found Nemo.”

Sam’s post featured a few relaxing photos of the beach, including one of her standing ankle deep in the ocean while wearing a silk Celine shirt and jean shorts.

Sam also shared a photo of the pair with their arms around each other set to the backdrop of a romantic sunset, before ending the post with an image of her husband standing on the beach during the evening.

Sam and Aaron got married in 2012 after falling in love on the set of Sam’s 2009 movie Nowhere Boy, in which Aaron starred as a young John Lennon. They share two daughters: Wylda Rae, 14, and Romy Hero, 12, while Sam is also mom to Angelica, 27, and Jessie, 18, from a previous relationship.

Aaron and Sam attended the premiere of Aaron’s new movie Kraven the Hunter at the AMC Lincoln Square in New York City on Dec. 10 with her two eldest daughters – marking the group’s first red carpet appearance together.

In April, Sam said in an interview with The Guardian that her kids aren’t concerned about her 24-year age gap with her husband.

When asked if her kids face any backlash from their parents’ relationship, Sam answered, “Not really. Or, if so, I don’t think they care. They see two loving, happy parents so it doesn’t really register. They just think people are a bit mean, or mad.”
